WWE SummerSlam 2016 results: Dean Ambrose pins Dolph Ziggler to retain WWE title

Dolph Ziggler got another crack at the crown at tonight's (Sun., Aug. 21, 2016) SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York when he battled Dean Ambrose for the WWE world heavyweight championship to become the top dog on SmackDown Live.

Still a peasant.

Ambrose made it entertaining by mocking Ziggler mocking Shawn Michaels in a playful way. Actually, Dean was having himself a real good time all throughout this one:

In the end, there was never any doubt, not really. The finish saw Ambrose reverse a facebuster into Dirty Deeds. After it connected, he waved to the referee to come on over and count Ziggler's shoulders down. Then he pinned him with more confidence than you've ever seen from any wrestler in history.
