WWE Battleground 2016 results: What was 'Match of the Night' in Washington DC?

WWE has put a bow tie around its Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) from the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. as the promotion wrapped up the show tonight (Sun., July 24, 2016) with Dean Ambrose successfully defending the WWE championship by pinning Roman Reigns, who had just taken out Seth Rollins, in the first Shield triple threat match.

Was it the best match on the card?

Elsewhere, Bayley showed up to help Sasha Banks defeat Charlotte and Dana Brooke in the opener, John Cena, Enzo, and Cass beat up The Club, Rusev took care of Zack Ryder, The Miz managed to keep the Intercontinental title thanks to Darren Young snapping on him and getting disqualified, and more!
