Battleground 2016 start time, WWE Network schedule

WWE will return to pay-per-view (PPV) and its own Network later on this evening with its annual Battleground event from the Verizon Center in Washington D.C., featuring the long awaited Shield triple threat match for the WWE championship as Dean Ambrose defends against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. ET with the free Kickoff Show, which runs for an hour on YouTube, WWE.com, and various other social media outlets. That leads right on into the PPV at 8 p.m. ET, which you can stream from a number of devices if you have a subscription to the Network.

Here's the WWE Network schedule for the evening:

4:00 pm: Swerved
4:30 pm: Swerved
5:00 pm: NXT
6:00 pm: Unfiltered with Renee Young
6:30 pm: This Week in WWE
7:00 pm: Battleground Kickoff
8:00 pm: Battleground
11:00 pm: Cruiserweight Classic
