When Shaquille O'Neal appeared in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, they built to a confrontation between the former NBA star and Big Show. It wasn't the first time the two have crossed paths and it probably won't be the last.
That's because both guys immediately started building to a singles match at WrestleMania 33, with Shaq laying the groundwork on Inside the NBA back in April and Show following up on it threatening to slap Shaq's "sloppy eye straight."
Now, a challenge has been thrown out, from the red carpet of tonight's ESPY Awards:
It makes all the sense in the world for WWE to have Shaq vs. Show at WrestleMania 33, considering it will take place in Orlando, where "The Daddy" originally made his name in pro basketball before moving on to win multiple championships elsewhere. Plus, you know, they've been building it for this long now, might as well deliver on it.
