WWE SmackDown spoilers (June 30, 2016): Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz

WWE SmackDown returns to the USA Network this coming Thursday night (June 30, 2016) from Miami, Florida but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early:

- Cesaro def. Sheamus & Apollo Crews & Alberto Del Rio in a Fatal 4-Way match to determine a number one contender to Rusev's US title. Sheamus attacked Cesaro after the match, which led to Rusev coming out and saying the match would happen then and there.

- Rusev def. Cesaro, though the latter looked good in defeat.

- Dana Brooke def. Billie Kay in a squash match.

- They did Miz TV with Dean Ambrose as the special guest. The two went back-and-forth, setting up a match for later in the night.

- Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan def. local athletes in a squash match.

- Sasha Banks def. Summer Rae, which is really weird considering house shows and social media but in line with the past storyline these two were working before it was abruptly dropped.

- Dean Ambrose def. The Miz in a main event billed as a champion vs. champion match.
