Dean Ambrose's first promo as WWE world heavyweight champion

After he cashed in the Money in the Bank contract he took earlier in the night to win the WWE world heavyweight championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in Paradise, Nevada, Dean Ambrose went backstage and gave an interview to Tom Phillips, his first official interview as the new champ. It was, not surprisingly, a great promo:

"It's a long night. That's a long night. I had a lot of long nights, a whole lot of long nights. Through all the years, more miles traveled, more cars wrecked, sitting in the back of squad cars more times than I care to admit, a whole bunch of stuff that I can't talk about on a PG show, more bruises, more breaks, more pain, more frustration than anybody can imagine that wears a tie, you know what I'm saying? But hey, we made it. And it's not me, it's not just me, it's all the people who supported me along the way, who helped me along the way, who stuck with me. The people who stuck with me, helped me stay alive, this is there's. This belongs to them. They know who they are and I say 'thank you' to them. Everybody else, everybody who wanted to write me off, well they can all kiss the champ's ass, you know what I'm saying? We're sitting pretty on top of the mountain tonight, boys! Oh man, I need a drink."

What a night.
