WWE Money in the Bank 2016 results: Rusev submits Titus O'Neil to retain US title

Although the show was running long and it appeared as though the match was in danger of being cut, Rusev did indeed defend his United States championship against Titus O'Neil at tonight's (Sun., June 19, 2016) Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Very early on, the two went to the outside and hit a double clothesline that looked like it was going to take them both out. They got back in the ring but rolled right back out and started battling each other there. They continued to fight there, long enough that it looked like they may be working toward a quick double count out.

But no, they went far longer than anyone could have reasonably expected them to, working a power match that featured Rusev submitting O'Neil with The Accolade not long after the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA championship.

Yep.
