It was a match-up we hadn't seen in... well, a couple hours at least.
Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler headed into their third straight pay-per-view (PPV) match against one another tonight in Las Vegas. These guys have pretty good chemistry together, and the Lone Wolf can agitate a crowd to the point that the Show-Off's babyface comebacks get a reaction no matter how many times we've seen it.
They battled to another good match tonight, following a familiar formula of Corbin dominating while Ziggler refused to give up. Big spots included a Deep Six on the floor after Dolph stumbles on the ring steps running to attack his opponent.
Zigs slide in just before a ten count, saving us from a countout which likely would have continued the feud. When a slick counter of End of Days into a Superkick wasn't enough to finish Corbin, Dolph decided to head up top. The Andre the Giant Memorial winner clipped the ropes to bring him down, setting him up for a successful finisher - and hopefully moving both men onto different programs.
