On Friday, the official WWE UK Twitter account tweeted a photo of Bobby Roode over the NXT logo. The tweet itself "confirmed" that Roode would be part of the upcoming NXT tour of the United Kingdom. The tweet was deleted almost immediately, but several fans managed to grab a screenshot of the tweet before it was pulled down.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the latest word on Roode is that he signed an NXT deal with WWE at the most recent NXT television tapings. WWE had been very interested in bringing him in, reportedly as a "player-coach" for NXT. He appeared onscreen in the front row at NXT TakeOver: Dallas over WrestleMania weekend in April.
Roode's former tag team partner, James Storm, opted to sign with TNA over NXT just a few months ago. The two men lost the TNA tag team championship on Impact television just last week.
