WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR MAY 30
Geno here for tonight's show. Deal with it.
They opened with everyone on the stage and a standing salute for Memorial Day. That was followed up with the video they released a few days ago paying tribute to those who have served.
Respect.
Shane McMahon came out to start the show proper and Stephanie McMahon followed him out before he could speak. They bickered a bit before announcing SmackDown going live on Tuesday nights on July 19. They started to run down the card when New Day's music hit.
They came out and talked about a brand extension. Shane confirmed "there will be unique superstars for Raw and SmackDown." Kofi Kingston put over Shane's shoes. Stephanie wanted credit for hers. No one cared.
New Day then asked where they are going. Stephanie said those decisions have yet to be made, so no one knows where anyone is going. She was accused of dodging the question. Shane said everything is on the table and New Day freaked out over the possibility of being broken up. Xavier appealed to their sensibilities using Francesca, and the fact that she needs all three of her fathers.
Big E asked who is going to run SmackDown.
Stephanie said they haven't figured it out yet.
New Day suggested a dance challenge. Stephanie didn't want it but Shane accepted. They hit the music and he danced poorly. Steph was hesitant at first and then decided to get ready to dance. That's when The Vaudevillains entrance hit. Shane and Stephanie just bailed and I guess we're getting a match now.

New Day vs. The Vaudevillains
This is a non-title match, for some reason.
JBL made mention of a "mud gloryhole" during this match. No one in Green Bay cared at all about what was happening in the ring for the first half of the match but they managed to get them back with a hot tag to Big E after some trombone work from Woods.
Right after that, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows ran in from the crowd and attacked New Day.
New Day def. Vaudevillains via disqualification
For some reason, Gotch and English decided to offer Big E up and leave. Anderson and Gallows put the boots to Big E and stood tall.

They had Renee Young interview Anderson and Gallows. She asked what that was about. Anderson said they can inflict just as much damage without AJ Styles, and they're going their separate ways. Gallows then said they wanted to put the entire tag team division on notice.
"We have arrived. In fact, we're just getting started."

They recapped Sheamus beating up Apollo Crews and then showed Crews working out in the back. Big Show walked up and Crews asked if he has a problem with the new era too. Show said he doesn't, he's been knocking people out since "the Jurassic era."
Amazing.
Crews said he didn't want to knock him out. Show laughed it off. Crews said he didn't know why Sheamus went after him but he'll make him pay. Show put him over as a guy he likes before saying Sheamus doesn't want anything to change. "He's going to do everything he can to keep the status quo the same. Sheamus is a bully -- it's what bullies do. The reason Sheamus picked on you is because he thinks you're going to back down. The question is, Apollo -- are you?"

Golden Truth were out working schtick. They'll be joining commentary, so I'm not sure why they wasted time on doing all that.
The Usos vs. Tyler Breeze & Fandango
They did an inset promo with Breeze and 'Dango where the latter called Golden Truth "Molten Poop." That's been the best thing about this show up to this point.
The match was short and Breeze was rolled up.
Usos def. Breeze & Fandango
After the match, the losers went to commentary to pick a fight with Golden Truth while The Usos just bailed to the back. Goldust and Truth got the upper hand and celebrated in the ring.

Roman Reigns was out for a promo to respond to all things Seth Rollins.
He stood in the ring and soaked in the reaction. Plenty of cheers, plenty of boos.
"Two years ago, Seth Rollins sold out when he broke up The Shield. Ever since then he's called himself The Man. That's funny to me, how can you call yourself The Man if you're constantly running from The Guy? I've said it before, I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, but as long as this (WWE world heavyweight title) is on my shoulder, I'm The Guy. So if you think you're the man, Seth, come on out here and prove it."
He put the mic down and Rollins' music hit. He walked out sans microphone and started walking to the ring. Reigns waited for him. Seth kept stopping and hyping himself up. Before he actually got to the ring he signaled like he was forgetting something.
He went and grabbed a microphone. Roman smirked.
Rollins acted like he was going to start talking multiple times. He looked at the crowd with disdain. Then he threw the mic and started walking to the ring again. He got close, stopped, and started laughing. He backed off again, then RAN for the ring, then stopped and laughed again.
You really got us, Seth.
Reigns just stood there, looking tired of all this.
Fans booed when Seth walked back up the ramp to the microphone. He picked it up, acted like he was going to talk again, then threw the mic and left. Roman's music hit and everyone who wanted to make noise cheered him as his music played.
Suddenly Rollins went hauling ass to the ring but AGAIN stopped just short and laughed. "We do things my way around here," Seth said as he backpedaled once more.
Roman held the title up in the ring.
That was that.

Lana was in the ring coming back from a commercial break. She was hardly using her accent to introduce her man, Rusev, who she called a "Umerican hero." He came out to little reaction.
Rusev vs. Zack Ryder
They had Ryder cut a promo saying he answered an open challenge from John Cena and something about proving he belongs. Rusev basically just beat him into the living death and submitted him with The Accolade.
Rusev def. Ryder
After, Rusev had them cut his music. Then he said Ryder is just like every other American, entitled even after losing everything. He is what America should be all about. "I am a true American hero because I'm a better American than you."
Titus O'Neil's music hit to cut him off. He said great Americans fight for what they believe in. He called Rusev a Bulgarian bullhorn and then punched him in the mouth.

They replayed the Flair family drama. Then they played a pre-tape that showed Charlotte running into Stephanie McMahon, who said she's embarrassed by the fact that Charlotte is women's champion. Then she called her spoiled, selfish, and told her to step back and shut her mouth. "You're not a champion, you're just a waste of talent."
Charlotte didn't say anything in response.
Okay then.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass were out next. Every crowd in every city LOVES these two. They did their usual schtick. It was over as hell.
Enzo & Cass vs. The Dudley Boyz
They did the usual in the match, with Enzo getting beat on for a while before a hot tag to Cass. Bubba Ray Dudley got the edge at one point but Enzo distracted him enough to set up Cass throwing him. D-Von got in and they hit the Rocket Launcher to get the three count.
Enzo & Cass def. Dudley Boyz

John Cena returns!
He looked really serious to start and opened with some words for Memorial Day. He got all worked up and said it was freedom that allows him to say loud and proud that he's back on Monday Night Raw.
He was impassioned about the future going through him. He talked about new names and faces. They all have to get through him.
AJ Styles came out.
He let the moment breathe and that led to dueling chants. "AJ Styles" vs. "Let's go Cena." They both soaked it up and played into it. Michael Cole called it "electric." This is the most fans have cared about anything tonight.
Styles said he heard Cena was the first one to get to the arena and the last one to leave. He put him over time and again, then said "welcome back." He stuck his hand out but Cena didn't shake it at first. Then he stepped in and did so. The crowd cheered for it.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows came out at that point. They said "unlike you we're not here to kiss ass, we're here to kick it." They advanced on Styles and Cena, who got ready for a fight. When Cena threw his shirt out, Styles attacked him. Gallows and Anderson immediately assisted him.
The Club lives!

Natalya vs. Dana Brooke
There wasn't much to this. Nattie got beat up.
Brooke def. Nattie
Charlotte was ringside for this, and she got in the ring and they ganged up on Natalya. They called Charlotte a disgraceful champion. While they were beating down Nattie, Becky Lynch's music hit and she ran down for the save.

JoJo interviewed Dolph Ziggler.
He talked about Baron Corbin and being a better wrestler. Then he brought up Chris Jericho's 1,004 holds thing and said he knows 1,005. He started in naming them and then stopped. Yes, he said "armbar" multiple times.
He ended by saying he'll steal the show.
________________________________________
Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
Ziggler was wearing a wrestling helmet like he was going full amateur wrestler. He was playing the part at first, then just blasted Corbin with a low blow. He was disqualified, of course.
Corbin def. Ziggler
Dolph got on the mic after and said he was disqualified but Corbin was still the loser.

Main event time.
Dean Ambrose & Sami Zayn & Cesaro vs. Alberto Del Rio & Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho
This was just throwing all the Money in the Bank ladder match participants into a six-man to square off with the heels on one side and the babyfaces on the other.
They made sure to work in previous issues with each guy opposite the other, most notably Ambrose and Jericho having been in a feud before all this. At the end of the match, Owens and Jericho got into it, leading to KO leaving and Jericho getting the Cesaro Swing. Alberto Del Rio broke it up but was hit with the Helluva Kick. Owens got in and superkicked Sami Zayn but when he went for the Pop up Powerbomb, Sami went over and he was hit with Dirty Deeds by Dean and pinned.
Ambrose & Zayn & Cesaro def. Del Rio & Owens & Jericho
End.
