AJ Styles reveals the reason for his ridiculous hair style

It's a question that's plagued wrestling fans since AJ Styles debuted in WWE at Royal Rumble this past January...

Does AJ Styles' ridiculous hair style serve any purpose other than punchline for Kevin Owens' jokes?

In a great new interview over at Rolling Stone, the Phenomenal One explains his hair philosophy. Luke Winkie asked if there was a reason he goes with the long bang, dry look when everybody else either has short hair or a wet locks.

And there is a method to his madness:

This is 100 percent the reason why: because everyone else does it. A lot of times when someone else is doing something I'll stay as far away possible from that. Everything I do I want to be A.J. Styles. When you see a guy come out with dry, long hair, I want you to be like, "Hey, that reminds me of A.J. Styles." That's what I want.

There you have it - ever the worker, AJ's goofy hairstyle is... best for business.
