Dean Ambrose qualifies for Money in the Bank ladder match

The Lunatic Fringe will get a chance to compete for the all-important briefcase at the next pay-per-view.

Monday night's episode of RAW is set to feature five qualifier matches for the right to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match at the upcoming pay-per-view of the same name. In the fourth such match of the evening, Dean Ambrose was able to defeat Dolph Ziggler to earn a trip to MITB.

Earlier in the evening, Ziggler spent some more time griping at Baron Corbin, who defeated him in a no disqualification match at Extreme Rules on Sunday night. Ziggler took exception to Corbin hitting him with a low blow, which was perfectly legal given the match stipulation, and challenged him to a technical wrestling match next week on RAW.

Ambrose and Ziggler had a typically great back-and-forth television match, with scads of signature moves and near falls. Ambrose finally managed to hit Dirty Deeds and get the pinfall victory.

Money in the Bank -- the seventh installment of the PPV event to be presented by WWE since the MITB ladder match has been removed from the WrestleMania lineup -- will take place on June 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
