WWE Extreme Rules 2016: The Club vs. The Usos Tornado match preview

This whirlwind feud might just reach its end on Sunday night.

The match

It's Extreme Rules, so there has to be an extreme rule, right? This one is a Texas Tornado tag team match, where all four men will be legal the entire time and there will be no tags. Should be fun and is probably a good way to try to get these two teams to resolve their differences. Via punching.

The players

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are (as far as we know) two-thirds of the Club, along with AJ Styles. They were previously members of the Bullet Club in New Japan and have definitely made an impact in their short time in WWE, gunning (no pun intended) for the Bloodline of the Usos and Roman Reigns. We don't know a lot about their motivations just yet, but we know they're a force to be reckoned with.

The Usos are one of the most popular tag acts in WWE from the past few years and are two-time former tag team champions. They're the real-life twin sons of Hall of Famer Rikishi and the cousins of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

The story

There were rumors swirling for months that Anderson and Gallows were signed by the WWE and inbound. They finally made their long-awaited debut after WrestleMania, jumping the Usos and beating them down severely after Jimmy and Jey had won a match in the tag team tournament to determine No. 1 contenders.

Before long, it was revealed that Anderson and Gallows were aligned with their good friend AJ Styles, who himself had become the No. 1 contender to Roman Reigns' world title. Anderson and Gallows kept beating up Reigns and the Usos on Styles' behalf (ostensibly), drawing the intense ire of the Bloodline.

The bad blood between the Club and the Usos and Reigns has been escalating dramatically week by week. The Usos and the Club have traded wins a couple times at this point, but now they're both dead set on beating the other team senseless, with the added advantage that each team wants to ensure the other won't interfere in the Extreme Rules match between Reigns and Styles in the main event.

So now we've got this Texas Tornado match. It is sure to be a wild one.
