WHO?
Ettore Ewen, Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, and Austin Waston, aka Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods. Collectively known as The New Day. 2-time and current WWE Tag Team Champions. Proponents of positivity. Endorser of Booty-Os, which still only exist in the form of a shirt.
John Smith and Matthew Rehwoldt, aka Simon Gotch and Aiden English. Collectively known as The Vaudevillians. Former NXT Tag Team Champions. Manly gentlemen.
WHY ARE THEY FIGHTING?
At Payback last month, the Vaudevillians, thanks to a concussion suffered in the early moments of the final, won the Booty-Os #1 Contender's Tag Team Tournament (Playa), making them... #1 contenders. Or something.
WHAT ARE THEY FIGHTING FOR?
The Double U, Double U, E, Tag, Team, Champeonsheeeeeeep.

HISTORY
The spot was probably meant for Enzo and Big Cass, but life's what happens when you're busy making plans. Enzo Amore suffered a concussion in the early moments of the finals of the #1 contender's tag team tournament. The match was declared a no contestu, yet somehow making the Vaudevillians the winner.
I don't get it either.
Of course the Villains make a mockery (storyline, obviously) of said injury and all hell breaks loose.
Yes, they ran this match twice in three weeks. With Cass defeating both of the Dudley Boyz. What does this have to do with this tag title match?
Nothing. But that's basically how we got here.
Well, that and the time machine. HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECK THE TIME MACHINE! THAT IS NOT MANLY! THAT IS NOT POSITIVITY! WHAT WOULD YOUR FOREFATHERS SAY?
Sorry. Had... had a moment there.
Anyway, The New Day, the longest reigning tag champions this decade, are closing in on the second longest reign of this version of the belts ever (this version was introduced back in 2002), needing only to get to Memorial Day to surpass... The Shining Stars for second, and are within two months of surpassing Paul London and Brian Kendrick for longest ever at 331 days.
WHO WINS?
Hmmm... let's see. A team that was promoted to the main roster two months ago challenging a team who was on the cover of the WWE 2015 annual financial report.
WINNER
Is it that obvious? New. Day socks! New. Day socks! New. Day socks! New. Day socks! Everybody! (via Simon Gotch's Twitter, ironically)
