WWE Raw ratings (May 9, 2016): Viewers down from last week

WWE.com

Last week's episode of Monday Night Raw saw a nice bump up in viewers if only due to the fact that it came one night after the Payback pay-per-view (PPV), up to 3.43 million viewers. With nothing major promoted beforehand for this week's episode, it's no surprise that number fell.

Indeed, this week's show drew 3.23 million viewers for all three hours. The hourly breakdown saw a small increase from hour one to hour two but another big drop in hour three:

Hour one: 3.35 million
Hour two: 3.36 million
Hour three: 3.01 million

The NBA Playoffs are ongoing and two games beat out Raw on the night. As Vince McMahon mentioned on a quarterly conference call today, reinforcements are on the way with plenty of big named stars due back within the next month or so.

We'll see if they have any affect on viewership.
