Back in January, it was reported Batista met with Vince McMahon about making an appearance at WrestleMania 32 this past Sun., April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was going to be the biggest show in the history of the company, after all, and the boss wanted all hands on deck. "The Animal," however, turned him down.
Days later, a report made the rounds that the role he said "no" to was a guest referee spot.
Now, a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet indicates WWE didn't ask him to be a referee but instead wanted him to appear in the Legends segment that saw Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and Mick Foley confront the League of Nations before dancing with New Day (and in Austin's case, delivering a Stunner to Xavier Woods).
Obviously, Batista didn't accept and he's been keeping busy with his commitments in Hollywood.
Oh well?
