Shaquille O'Neal was a surprise entrant in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 this past Sun., April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He didn't do much other than have a standoff with Big Show that led to the two getting eliminated almost immediately.
It also left a future match on the table, one Shaq appeared to be setting up for during an episode of NBA on TNT (via WWE.com):
"Big Show, a friend of mine, likes to talk a lot of smack. So I said 'you know what, I'm coming to Dallas and I'm going to knock you out.' It was fun. It was amazing. Shout out to the McMahon family. I've been a wrestling fan all my life, so when they called me to do it, I had to do it. But next time when I fight Big Show and body slam him over a table there ain't going to be nothing to talk about. That's going down next year in Orlando."
Shaq vs. Big Show at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando makes all the sense in the world and would surely be the best match on the card.
