In the days leading up to WrestleMania 32 last night (Sun., April 3, 2016) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, there was a strange rumor making the rounds that Bill Goldberg had made amends with WWE and would be making his return at the big event. It seemed unlikely, but so did the idea of Shaq entering the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and he did just that.
After the show, Goldberg took to Twitter to clear up the confusion:
Never in the cards to show up tonight but I refused to spoil it for everyone by commenting.....thank you all for giving a shit

While also dropping this little nugget to make sure fans know there's always that chance:
I'm always ready RT @Lubangu_Era: Until next year. Hopefully @Goldberg is ready, I wanna see you there.#Wrestlemania

So, really, we'll see you back here with the same round of rumors next year.
