WrestleMania 32 results: Zack Ryder wins the Intercontinental championship

The pay-per-view (PPV) portion of tonight's (Sun., April 3, 2016) WrestleMania 32 event from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas kicked off just like last year: With a 7-man Intercontinental championship ladder match. Kevin Owens put his title on the line against Sami Zayn, Stardust, Zack Ryder, Sin Cara, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler.

Owens, a heel, got the biggest pop for his entrance, by the way.

They wasted no time getting to the big spots, as guys were getting slammed onto ladders, driven into the mat from ladders, thrown from a ladder onto the rope where they dove onto a group of people trying to avoid ladders. Zayn got to run the most wild early on, diving into a crowd before running across and doing the corner DDT through the ring post to Owens.

Then it was Sin Cara's turn to make himself famous.

Shortly after, Stardust broke out a polka dot ladder and went all helicopter with it before KO got in and threw it out of the ring. Then he hit Zayn with a huge frog splash while Sami was laid out on a ladder resting on the ropes. It was really something.

Ryder's big spot was a diving elbow from the top of a ladder on Miz. When he went up after, Ziggler followed him and they went off the top together for a facebuster. Dolph then sold a knee injury, hopping his way up the ladder. Owens then showed up, grabbed his bad leg, yanked him off the ladder and into a powerbomb.

My god, this match.

Before you could even catch your breath, Sin Cara ended up pushed off a ladder onto Stardust, who was spread across another ladder from the apron to the barricade. It looked like everyone got hurt on that one. Probably because they did.

That led to the moment many of us were all waiting for: Owens and Zayn together at the top of the ladder fighting each other with everything they had to grab the title. Owens used an eye poke to get Sami off but Zayn pushed him down and suplexed him onto a ladder in a BRUTAL spot.

Before Zayn could grab the title, The Miz showed up. All alone, carnage all around him, Miz took his time. Before he could grab the belt, Ryder showed up, pushed him off, and grabbed the title for himself to a massive pop.

ZACK DADDY WINS.

His dad got in the ring immediately and the two cried while Ryder held the title up.
