With WrestleMania 32 all set to invade AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this coming Sun., April 3, 2016, live on pay-per-view (PPV) and the WWE Network, it's time to go about making predictions for the biggest show of the year. The match card is filled out and our staff of learned blowhards will give their best guess on who is going to emerge victorious this weekend.
But instead of doing this all in one post and giving you a wall of text and 3,000 words to read through, we'll give the top five matches their own post then cover the undercard.
Got it? Good. Up next: The undercard!
New Day vs. League of Nations
(Tag team championship)
Geno Mrosko: Who cares?
Pick: New Day
Sean Rueter: Who cares who wins? Will the entrances have unicorns and tanks!?!? Seriously, though, as of my writing this, it looks like the titles aren't on the line, so, for real, who cares? I'd go with feel good story of the newest big babyface act winning on the biggest stage the company has, but Kofi, E and X have gotten the better of a lot of this feud, and the League needs a signature moment they can point to if they have a prayer of being taken seriously in the future. Why not now, through devious means designed to cement New Day as tecnicos?
Pick: League of Nations
Bill Hanstock: A big part of me hopes the special surprise in this match will be the captain, Seth Rollins, returning to side with New Day. But if -- IF -- Rollins is making a shocking return at WrestleMania, it should be in the world title match, not in ... this. Whoever or whatever the surprise ends up being, it's safe to say the New Day will continue to rock. I'm also calling it right now: New Day will have the WrestleMania entrance of the night. Perhaps of the decade.
Pick: The New Day
Cain A. Knight: Dave Meltzer keeps teasing that something big is going to happen in this match. Considering how boring and uninteresting this rivalry is, I am inclined to believe Meltzer on this one; it is the only way to explain why WWE would stubbornly stick with such a dead feud. So this is where I think The Rock is going to show up and get involved. The New Day needs an extra man and the League of Nations are mostly a joke, so getting squashed by New Day and The Rock won't hurt anyone important. Perhaps the goal is that it gets New Day over in a major way in this segment. And this could also give The Rock a showcase to look like a total badass early in the night before showing up later on and falling victim to a brutal Roman Reigns heel turn at the end of the night.
Pick: New Day
Kyle Decker: I'm starting to wonder if this match isn't a full New Day face turn but instead a feud to get them through WrestleMania, where they are going to get cheered anyway. Then they turn back to full heel when Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady finally get called up to the main roster. I would be surprised if the League of Nations walk away with the titles here Then again, the titles may not even be on the line, which is super weird. However, after the year they had, the New Day deserve a WrestleMania victory. The League doesn't seem like a long term option. Barrett is soon leaving, Del Rio just doesn't seem to fit in (anywhere), and Rusev is underutilized as part of this group. In the end, the big draw for this match is the possibility of major theatrics for the New Day entrance. Come on, animatronic unicorn!
Pick: The New Day
Tonya Rodgers: New Day is the hottest act in the company so there is no way the WWE is going to allow them to lose to the League of Slapdicks. There is also word that the Rock will somehow be in New Day's corner or whatnot and I can't really see WWE having the Rock support someone who lost. And what would it serve to have LON go over?
Pick: New Day

AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho
(Grudge match)
Geno Mrosko: Conventional wisdom says Styles should pick up the convincing win here but this is WWE and something tells me Jericho is going to steal another one before AJ wins on Raw tomorrow night to close it out. I hope not, but, again, this is WWE.
Pick: Chris Jericho
Sean Rueter: Y2J is the best in the world at what he does, and what he does is lose to guys Vince McMahon is excited about. Sometimes Vince is right to be excited, like now. Sometimes he's not, like WrestleMania 29. Doesn't matter, though, because like the Fandango loss, this will all be retconned out by the Ayatollah in 2019 after three or four more surprise comebacks, anyway.
Pick: AJ Styles
Bill Hanstock: Can't we all just be glad that Chris Jericho is finally a heel again? It's where he belongs. Please, Evil Dad, never, ever try to be a good guy again. Ever. We just can't take it. I would very much like Styles to get the win here and give Mr. TNA a fantastic WrestleMania moment.
Pick: AJ Styles
Cain A. Knight: In the worst case scenario this match will still provide competent in-ring action and won't be bad. But will these two performers be able to exceed that minimum expectation and put on a match that could potentially steal the show? Chris Jericho is underappreciated as far as part-timers go, and it is very possible that he was planting the seeds for this heel turn right back from the start when he was doing that lame Cool Dad schtick with the New Day in January. Then he viciously destroyed AJ Styles, called Toronto an anus, and has been a total delight to watch. Meanwhile Styles is perhaps the most exciting wrestler on the roster when it comes to what he can do between the ropes. Yeah it's a little strange that these guys are feuding over a chant that doesn't even seem to be all that over, but I'm willing to overlook that for now because the match should deliver. I can imagine the internet blowing up if Cool Dad actually wins this match.
Pick: AJ Styles
Kyle Decker: If WWE knows what they have in Styles, and I believe they do, he will pick up the win here. Jericho is still a part time guy who's job it is to eventually put full time guys over. That's what we'll get here. It'll be a good match, likely with continued fantastic heeling from Jericho, and AJ will get his first WrestleMania win
Pick: AJ Styles
Tonya Rodgers: So, this is the WWE, right? And they're allowed Styles to defeat Jericho at the previous pay-per-view, correct? Do you see where I'm headed with this? In the land of 50/50 booking and no one being bigger than the brand, what's the most WWE thing they can do in this match?
Pick: Chris Jericho

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
(20-man over the top rope)
Geno Mrosko: As soon as I saw Cesaro without the sling, my mind was made up.
Pick: Cesaro
Sean Rueter: Not even joking when I say this will be the impetus for his annual post-Mania feud with the new WWE champ.
Pick: Kane
Bill Hanstock: Ideally, this match would end with Kane, Big Show and Mark Henry all touching the ground at the same time for a three-way tie, then triple-retiring. I think Kane and Henry both have a decent shot at winning in order to give one of them one last WrestleMania moment, but it also wouldn't be out of the question for someone to come out of nowhere and win it ... hey, maybe the final entrant will be Titus O'Neil.
Pick: Mark Henry
Cain A. Knight: Eh, it's a Battle Royal with a bunch of jobbers, Kane, Big Show, and the Wyatt Family. That probably means Braun Strowman is going to be hugging a whole lot of dudes.
Pick: Braun Strowman
Kyle Decker: Oh who the hell knows? I mean who that's actually at a place where they can are a believable win and can benefit from it? It's just a bunch of low card talent and a few guys well past their prime. I'm going to go with Strowman, who isn't even advertised for the match.
Pick: Braun Strowman
Tonya Rodgers: I could not care less.
Pick: Really... who cares?

The Usos vs. The Dudley Boyz
(Grudge match)
Geno Mrosko: Jimmy and Jey are too Samoan and too tough for the likes of Bubba Ray and D-Von.
Pick: Usos
Sean Rueter: There will be wood. Beyond that? I guess the twins who I don't care about beat the old guys I don't care about? Hopefully R-Truth shows up in a penguin costume to give Goldust something that will make him gassy.
Pick: The Usos
Bill Hanstock: So we're really doing this, huh? Okay, fine. FINE. I won't be surprised to see this get relegated to the pre-show, or to have this be the comedown match between two of the main events. The Dudleys should get a nice nostalgia pop and it'll be nice to see 80,000-plus people react to someone going through a table, but this is easily the match I care the least about on the entire card.
Pick: The Usos
Cain A. Knight: I don't think the Usos have ever wrestled on the main card of WrestleMania, and this match feels like it exemplifies the spirit of unimportant pre-show filler material. There actually is a story between these two teams though and so that helps a little bit. The Usos are still seeking revenge on the Dudley Boyz for turning on them several weeks back, and it looks like WrestleMania 32 will be the night that the Dudleyz are put through some tables and receive comeuppance for their despicable behavior.
Pick: The Usos
Kyle Decker: While conventional thinking has the younger, good guy team of the Usos going over, I don't think the Dudleys have actually won a feud since returning 6 months ago. Because of that, I think they are going to pick up the win here against a couple of Samoan tough-ish guys. The Usos will get the win back on the obligatory Raw rematch the following night.
Pick: Dudley Boyz
Tonya Rodgers: This match shouldn't even happen since literally no one seems to care, not even WWE themselves. Hopefully, some tables come into play and we get some good spots.
Pick: The Dudleys

The Total Divas vs. BAD & Blonde
(10-Divas tag match)
Geno Mrosko: Think about this: We could very well see Lana wrestling Eva Marie at some point during this match, at WrestleMania 32, the biggest show in WWE history. Amazing.
Pick: The Total Divas
Sean Rueter: Look, to steal Titus O'Neil's old catchphrase (we've got to work him into Mania somehow), I'm calling this one a win just because it got Emma back on the main roster, even if just for this match. Beyond that, I figure Naomi or Tamina takes the pin so Michael Cole can say "Total Divas" a lot.
Pick: The Total Divas
Bill Hanstock: In stark contrast to the Divas Championship Match, this is really confusing when it comes to heel-face dynamics. Just like the Divas division used to be! I'm really torn on this one, because it seems like Team Total Divas winning would feel like a small step back, but there's definitely talent there.
Pick: Brie Bella's team
Cain A. Knight: I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm at least happy that Natalya and Paige were included on the card. Let's face it, it really doesn't matter who wins this match. I guess that means the babyfaces go over.
Pick: Team Brie
Kyle Decker: Even with Brie Bella retiring, I'm going pick the heels in this match. (They can give Brie a one on one victory the next night at Raw as her send off.) The heels have more upside than Team Total Divas. Emma is an excellent wrestler, Summer did wonderful work this year, Naomi and Tamina had a lot of focus recent, and despite all the talks of Nuclear Heat, there's a reason WWE had a big push in mind for Lana. That's not to say members of Team Total Divas aren't valuable, but Brie's leaving, and Foxy & Nattie are vets who won't benefit as much from this win. And in the end, Eva's probably going to turn on them all anyway.
Pick: Lana, Summer, Emma, Naomi, & Tamina
Tonya Rodgers: Eva Marie will probably cost her team the victory but the faces will somehow stand tall. Also, I really dig the ladies on the heel team more so I hope they win.
Pick: Team B.A.D. and Blonde

Kalisto vs. Ryback
(United States championship)
Geno Mrosko: Size does matter in Vince McMahon's world and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's already soured on the idea of Kalisto as a possible babyface mid-card star.
Pick: Ryback
Sean Rueter: Something tells me the powers-that-be aren't sold on Kalisto. I think that something was the year he spent on the roster as a tag team runner-up and the way he hasn't been on television as United States champ. Deleting his Wednesday sitdown with Cole from their YouTube channel was the coup de gras.
Pick: The Ryback
Bill Hanstock: I really like what Ryback has been doing since going to the tighty, uh, black trunks. I also think that he and Kalisto are capable of putting on a very fun little big man-little man match. I'm just hoping that Kalisto gets a few chances to wow a crowd this size, which will be full of casual and lapsed fans. Kalisto needs this win a lot more than Ryback does at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ryback go over.
Pick: Kalisto
Cain A. Knight: Ryback getting a one-on-one match at WrestleMania 32 is a joke and one of the most disappointing things about this card. Anybody who thinks Ryback still has potential to be a major player in WWE is just fooling themselves. There is a cycle that keeps repeating with Ryback. Vince sees Ryback's muscles and decides to push him. But Ryback is awful and so his push doesn't work. Then Ryback is forgotten about for a while until Vince sees his muscles again a few months later. That's basically a simplified version of the Ryback story since 2012. If WrestleMania 32 is facing any time restrictions, I could see this turning into a very quick squash match. Kalisto should get the win here because unlike Ryback, Kalisto actually has upside to become a big star. But there are rumors that Ryback will be feuding with Roman Reigns soon enough, and so my guess is that Ryback defeats Kalisto without much of a struggle.
Pick: Ryback
Kyle Decker: The Big Guy is one of those wrestlers who always has on again/off again pushes. Because of that, I wouldn't be totally surprised if he wins the US Title. But I don't think he will. There's more upside to Kalisto. He's younger, more exciting, and would prove more important to the US Title. While no where near the likes of a John Cena Open Challenge, Kalisto could have more consistently entertaining matches with a wider range of people to keep some prestige on the US title.
Pick: Kalisto
Tonya Rodgers: Of all the matches on this event, I am looking forward to the results here the most. These two had a really good match in the tournament for a new WWE WHC back in November. I am hoping this is just a good exhibition match for Kalisto of overcome some odds. Ryback isn't really going anywhere. He's reached his ceiling. Kalisto has a bright future ahead if he is handled properly and this match would really put him on the right track with a victory over the Big Guy.
Pick: Kalisto
