After weeks of speculation and rampant rumors and reports, WWE confirmed on Saturday that Undertaker has officially been pulled from all European dates, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
This announcement comes shortly after WWE announced both Triple H and Shane McMahon would be making appearances on that tour, which is well underway at this point. Those two additions were likely something of a make-good by the company.
Prior to this announcement, Undertaker had been advertised for dates, then reportedly pulled from all of them, then replaced by Kane, then confirmed to be on two of the shows.
Over on Jim Ross' blog, the Hall of Fame announcer had this to say about the Dead Man being pulled from the European events:
"Undertaker being pulled from the imminent WWE tour of the UK and Ireland is troubling. I hope that Taker is healthy as he can be considering his tenure and his 'bump card' likely getting full. I still don't think that WWE would likely endorse Taker's retirement without a major marketing effort to celebrate The Deadman's amazing career in WWE."
We'll have to wait and see whether Undertaker ever appears in a WWE ring again.
