The best -- and worst -- WWE entrance themes

We haven't done this in a while (if at all), so I recruited a friend of the site, Sealia Bloom of Talking Sheet, to help put together a list of the 10 best and worst entrance themes in WWE today. It was a painstaking process that took at least 25 minutes with zero bathroom breaks.

We worked hard on this, folks. Feel free to tear us apart in the comments or on Twitter (Cageside here, Sealia here).

Best

1. Sasha Banks

Sealia: She gets the most points for having an actual song you can sing along to, and she gets extra credit for singing it herself.

Geno: She sings it herself? Either way, this is one of the few entrance themes I keep on my phone. When it comes in, it hits hard and it fits really well with the character, even if the lyrics kinda sorta don't make sense.

2. Shinsuke Nakamura

Sealia: He would be first if we were also grading the entrance itself, but because we're only looking at the song itself, he slips to number two. It's unique.

Geno: I feel like he's having sex with me through his entrance and the theme supplements that.

3. AJ Styles

Sealia: For a minute, this was my morning alarm.

Geno: The lyrics are laughable but because I do not wish to acquire any -- and because Sealia argued for it well enough -- it beats out the next entry.

4. Brock Lesnar

Geno: When you hear that opening riff, there is no mistaking what's about to happen: you are going to die and there is nothing you can do to stop it. It hammers all throughout, like it's in rhythm with Brock dealing hammerfists to some poor, helpless soul.

5. Bray Wyatt

Sealia: You know it's a good theme when everyone in the audience is eager to play along with it.

Geno: What she said.

6. Shane McMahon

Sealia: "Here comes the money..."

Geno: Money money money money money money money money money

7. Rusev

Geno: RUSEV UDRIA RUSEV MACHKA

8. Undertaker

Sealia: It's not bad for a dead guy with a theme song. If I was a dead girl and had a theme song, I would hope it would crack a top 10 list.

Geno: It's a classic. There's no way we could make this list and not put him on it. It's fine that his entrance takes an hour and a half because his theme is so good.

9. Sami Zayn

Sealia: I feel like it's great for the elliptical.

Geno: I dare you to listen to this without smiling. Pulled it off? Congrats, you're dead inside.

10. Emma

Worst

1. Brie Bella

Sealia: Too heavy on the synthesizer.

Geno: It is as though they were asked to create a sound that would break a torture subject as quickly as possible.

2. Zack Ryder

3. The Miz

Sealia: It's as terrible as his character.

Geno: I suppose you could argue it fits with the heel character, that you're supposed to hate it. Well, mission accomplished.

4. Dolph Ziggler

Sealia: Ugh.

Geno: Ugh.

5. Alicia Fox

Sealia: It's like Brie, Nikki, and Foxy all have the same theme and they just run it through the synthesizer at different points.

6. Naomi

Sealia: It's definitely not amay-yay-yay-yay-zing.

7. Alberto Del Rio

Sealia: I feel like there should be some sort of serpent in his entrance to have this theme.

Geno: As soon as it starts, I want it to end.

8. Ryback

Geno: Painfully generic for a painfully generic character.

9. Chris Jericho

Sealia: Can't hear it over his light-up jacket.

Geno: Put the walls back up, please.

10. Nikki Bella

Sealia: It's weird to sing to, it's not a theme you can work out to, and it's interesting the song is all about her looks.

Geno: Love the wrestler, hate the theme.

If you didn't see your favorite entrance theme, chances are it's going to show up on our next list: Entrances.

Until then!
