We knew both Steve Austin and Mick Foley would be doing something with WWE for WrestleMania, and tonight we learned at least part of what they'll be up to... when WWE Network delivers a live edition of the Stone Cold Podcast after SmackDown on Thursday, Mar. 31.
This has the potential to be a good one, for a number of reasons. Austin and Foley are two of the best storytellers in wrestling history - each has made a living telling tales in one form or another after their in-ring careers ended - and both have been very open with their criticisms of the current WWE product. Whichever way their conversation on the Podcast goes, it should be worth a watch.
And, while it's not surprising in the least, this prominently and officially puts them in the conversation for WrestleMania 32. Austin's home isn't far from North Texas, and the Hardcore Legend will be there helping host the winners of his RAINN raffle (information and ticket link here)... who knows what else they might get up to that weekend?
