Stephanie McMahon discusses having Shane back, her daughter's Diva dreams and the family business on ESPN

WWE week on ESPN continued this morning when Chief Brand Officer and top on-screen heel Stephanie McMahon visited SportsCenter ahead of her husband's visit there this evening.

The Billion Dollar Princess did her usual solid job of selling the real world company and Sunday's kayfabe WrestleMania clashes her character has a stake in, Triple H vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight championship and Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker with control of Raw on the line for the former and future Mania appearances at stake for the latter.

Here are some interesting quotes from Steph's appearance, courtesy of ProWrestling.net, including discussing the many hats she wears for the company:

Oh, goodness. Okay, so I am chief brand officer for WWE, so I am an executive. I am also a television personality on our programming and I play a villain. Our husband and I are known as The Authority, and we are the principal owners of the show, abusing our powers left and right in the storyline. And, of course, my husband is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now, and he will be wrestling Roman Reigns in front of what will hopefully be a record breaking crowd for WWE at WrestleMania in AT&T Stadium.

What her three daughters think of mom & dad when they're playing their characters on Raw and how they respond to their wanting to follow in their footsteps:

They know it's stories and they have fun with it. They are nine, seven, and five. My oldest wants to be a Diva. She wrote a book, she wants to be a Diva.

She's going to have to earn it. We want our children to do whatever they want to do in life, whatever fulfills them and makes them happy, as long as they know to work hard for it.

How it's been having her brother back in the family business:

It's been awesome. Shane is an incredible performer, but just having him back around in general as my big brother. My brother raised me in a lot of ways, for better or worse, when my parents were trying to build the business. So to have him back is just so much fun.

ESPN has released a couple of clips of her sit-down chat with Hannah Storm, where they discussed Steph's brokering the deal to bring Mania to AT&T Stadium with Charlotte Jones-Anderson, the daughter of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones:

And discussing the challenges of working in a male-dominated field, and how the Divas Revolution is an example of the rise of women's sports:

In addition to Trips appearance with Jonathan Coachman this evening, Shane and Taker are scheduled to visit during the morning shows later this week, so stay tuned for more interesting discussion of the stories and the business from those names.
