WWE has yet to make it official but Chris Jericho will wrestle AJ Styles in the latter's WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 32 on April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The two have been feuding since Styles finally made his way to the big show in January, including a series of singles matches leading to a brief tag team run before a break up for yet another series of matches.
If you're asking Styles, Jericho is the perfect opponent for his big moment (via The Mirror):
"I think the feud is getting attention so we must be doing something right. And to have the opportunity hopefully to wrestle Chris at WrestleMania, he is the perfect opponent for me. We've had three matches before this one-on-one and our tag match and they've been great matches, so hopefully to have another and to have it on the biggest stage of them all will be very special. I can't wait for the opportunity to get in front of all the people at WrestleMania and put on a match they won't forget."
From a technical standpoint, this could very well be the right call for WWE as far as match quality is considered. You could argue with the entertainment value Jericho brings at this point in his career but when you look at the card, this could be the show stealer.
Right?
