Report: Luke Harper's knee injury could keep him out for six months

We haven't heard any official word from WWE on Luke Harper's status following the leg injury he suffered in a dark match at Monday Night Raw this week in Philadelphia. He did not appear on SmackDown, however, and all signs pointed to the injury being legitimate.

Now, PW Insider is reporting there's word going around Madison Square Garden in New York tonight, where WWE is running a house show, that his knee injury is "worse than originally feared" and it could mean he's out up to six months.

Assuming he's out that long, he'll miss two of the biggest events on the calendar in 2016, WrestleMania 32 and SummerSlam. It's also unfortunate considering he's the most versatile member of The Wyatt Family, who are down to Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman acting in support of Bray Wyatt.

Rumors suggested the crew was headed for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal with the possibility of involvement in the Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose match at WrestleMania. Now, no matter what happens, Harper will miss out.
