WWE SmackDown returns to the USA Network this coming Thursday night (Mar. 24, 2016) from Boston, Massachusetts but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.
Unwrap that present early:
- Sasha Banks def. Charlotte with Becky Lynch on commentary. Lynch got in and suplexed Sasha before she recovered and hit Charlotte with a Bank Statement.
- The New Day cut a promo on League of Nations, sans Alberto Del Rio, before Sheamus def. Kofi Kingston with a Brogue Kick thanks to an assist from King Barrett.
- The Usos def. The Ascension, then put them through a table after.
- Sami Zayn & Dolph Ziggler def. The Miz & Kevin Owens with Zayn going over Miz with the Helluva Kick. Owens tried to bail on the match but Stardust, Zack Ryder, and Sin Cara stopped him. This led to choas and finishers flying everywhere and Ryder was the only one left standing.
- Roman Reigns vs. Bubba Ray Dudley went to a double count out when they brawled on the outside and didn't care about getting back in. Reigns was being his newer, more vicious self, and he put Bubba down before bailing to the back.
- Backstage skits with Golden Truth -- still not a team yet -- and Kalisto bumping into Ryback and being told he's too small.
- AJ Styles def. Tyler Breeze in a quick match.
- Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were out for a promo. They called out Dean Ambrose but The Wyatt Family showed up. Before they could attack, Ambrose came out and he actually went after the Wyatts, so it was Dean and Brock against the bad guys. Then they turned against each other. Ambrose used a kendo stick but Lesnar still got the best of him and put him down with an F-5.
That's the show. You watching?
