WWE filed a preliminary proxy statement today (as you can see here) and a few wrestling nerds (said with love, of course) have noticed a few interesting tidbits from said filing. That includes this little nugget on the recently returned Shane McMahon:

There have been persistent rumors that the on screen power struggle between Shane and The Authority is rooted in reality but WWE has been sure to remind its fans it's just a storyline. Things can and often do change in pro wrestling, so don't take this as concrete evidence there isn't something building behind-the-scenes as rumors suggest.
But, hey, if they can get Shane on the cheap for a major match at WrestleMania, why not?
