With Shane McMahon returning to WWE on Monday Night Raw last week, not to mention the Road to WrestleMania 32 starting in earnest, viewers were up for the flagship show. It was also the night after a major pay-per-view (PPV), Fastlane, so a drop in viewers this week is no surprise.
Sure enough, last night's show drew 3.72 million viewers, down from 3.88 million last week.
The hourly breakdown shows more of a sustained interest than last week, however:
Hour one: 3.96 million
Hour two: 3.66 million
Hour three: 3.55 million
That's more in line with the usual pattern. Perhaps fans were just that curious about whether or not Dean Ambrose would get his title shot against Triple H (he did) and how exactly it would play out relative to expectations. It's worth noting that Shane McMahon and Brock Lesnar were not on this show but will be back next week.
