Surf's Up, for the unaware, was a 2007 Sony Pictures Animation film about surfing penguins who occasionally peed on one another. Now it looks like it's getting a sequel. Not only that, but Surf's Up 2: WaveMania will have a deep pro wrestling connection.
If the title (and WrestleMania-inspired logo) alone weren't enough to tip you off, current WWE Superstars John Cena, Paige and Triple H will all be voicing penguins at least partially inspired by them (and at least in the case of the latter two, even having the same names). According to the full story over at WWE.com, they'll be accompanied by an Undertaker penguin and Vince McMahon as an otter with a deeply unsettling amount of silver chest hair.
This was a lot of fun...sometimes you just have to ride the wave! Get ready for Surf’s Up 2 : Wavemania! pic.twitter.com/wHxccq0F4t

The design of Hunter the Penguin alone is probably enough to get me to dip my toe back into the Surf's Up waters. The film is scheduled for release in 2017.
