WWE Raw results, live blog (Feb. 8, 2016): Brock Lesnar back again

WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Feb. 8, 2016) from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, featuring all the latest build to the upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for later this month in Cleveland, Ohio.

Advertised for tonight: Brock Lesnar is back again and this time he may have Roman Reigns in his sights. Daniel Bryan also officially announces his retirement from WWE.

Come right back here at 8 p.m. ET when the Raw live blog kicks off once the show starts on USA. It will be below this line here. (REMINDER: NO GIFS OR PICS ARE ALLOWED IN THE COMMENTS SECTION. OFFENDERS WILL BE BANNED.)

Chris here. Thank you, Daniel Bryan.

WWE Signature and a Daniel Bryan tribute plays.....this is going to be a rough night.

They've changed up the Raw intro a bit as well.

Stephanie McMahon is in the ring. There is going to be a contract signing to kick this party off.

Stephanie welcomes us to Raw, and starts talking about the contract signing. Our first Daniel Bryan chant of the night starts (I'm going to keep count). Steph takes advantage and gets some good heel heat from the chant by saying that Seattle is confused. This gets some good heat.

Steph starts talking about the competitors for Fastlane's main event when Dean Ambrose interrupts.

Ambrose asks if Steph can cut to the chase and get the signing over with. Ambrose has some unfinished business with Brock Lesnar, and he wants to kill. Steph says that she tells everyone what to do, and "there will be no physicality" at this signing.

Steph tries to continue, but Roman Reigns interrupts now.

Reigns also asks what the hold-up is. After all, Reigns wants to beat up Lesnar as well. However, Steph says that they will wait before poking fun at Reigns always getting involved in Ambrose's business.

Steph introduces one Brock Lesnar now.

Paul Heyman starts to introduce himself, but Steph cuts him off and has everyone sign before death and destruction occurs.

All three men sign, and Steph quickly exits the ring, leaving Lesnar and Ambreigns to glare at each other. Heyman then tells Ambrose to ask Reigns the differency between an Authority beatdown and an authoritative beatdown from Lesnar.

The crowd chants "Suplex City" as Heyman exits the ring. Ambrose walks around the table and gets in Lesnar's face. Lesnar nicely responds by hurling Ambrose over the contract table into Reigns, throwing said table into Reigns, and delivering an F5 to Ambrose.

As Lesnar exits, Triple H comes out and has a staredown with Lesnar.

Backstage, Ambrose and Reigns are angrily walking backstage. Ambrose swears to god that he's going to get Brock Lesnar by the end of the night.

Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler

Although we've seen this one a few times lately, it was still a fun one. These two hit hard like always, and even utilized an interesting apron Famouser spot. However, the interesting ending came when Owens missed a cannonball. Ziggler converted this into a rope-assisted roll-up to win.

Afterward, Owens threw a fit, threw stuff at Michael Cole, and tore up the stairs.

Backstage, The Usos are drawing on themselves when The Dudley Boyz come in and mix The Usos up. After this awkward moment, The Dudleys say that they should be the ones having the tables match. Therefore, they have an idea: The Usos AND The Dudleys vs The New Day. They agree to the idea if it's approved.

Charlotte vs Alicia Fox

This happened. Charlotte won with the Figure Eight.

It's MizTV time.

Before he introduces Chris Jericho, The Miz addresses last week's edition when AJ Styles kicked his ass.

Miz calls Styles' actions "disgusting", thinking that all of that was a ruse. He then goes on with his usual delusional ranting until Jericho mercifully interrupts.

Jericho thanks Miz for his intro before telling him to shut the hell up. Jericho then says that Seattle doesn't want MizTV. Instead, they want a Highlight Reel. The crowd pops for this as you would expect.

Jericho changes everything up as The Miz freaks out. This is now The Highlight Reel.

Jericho starts to introduce The Highlight Reel until Miz interrupts by saying that this isn't right. Jericho agrees, saying that something is missing.

Jericho addresses Miz and his loss to AJ Styles as well as losing his beautiful teeth. The crowd responds with a "you look stupid" chant to Miz. Miz responds by saying that he's not Sheamus....well done.

The Miz talks about his Moneymaker and how AJ cost him $10,000 and a major audition with Steven Spielberg. Jericho laughs during all of this and sings the "All I Want For Chrismas (Is My Two Front Teeth)" song when Miz questions him.

The Miz strikes back at Jericho by showing the footage of AJ beating Jericho a few weeks ago. Jericho just stares as Miz says that the loss is eating him alive. Jericho acknowledges this fact as the crowd chants for AJ Styles.

Jericho rehashes his question from SmackDown: is AJ Styles great? Can he defeat Jericho twice?

Jericho says that it won't happen because he is the best in the world.

AJ Styles enters now and Miz cheap-shots Jericho. AJ comes to the ring and helps Jericho clear out Miz twice. After Miz is re-dumped, AJ and Jericho have a staredown.

This goes on until Miz interrupts again. Jericho throws him over the table, stares down AJ again, and walks out.

Bray Wyatt vs Ryback

This one happened. Bray hit Sister Abigail from out of nowhere to win.

Afterward, The Wyatts kill Ryback.

Backstage, The New Day is backstage polishing a table and doing math. Renee Young comes in and asks if they've found a partner for their eight-man tag match tonight. Xavier Woods slams his calculator down and asks Renee if they look like they've found a partner. Instead, they go back to polishing their table.

Also backstage, Dean Ambrose is still raging when Roman Reigns approaches. Reigns wants to kill Lesnar as well, but Ambrose says no. Instead, Ambrose wants to take Lesnar on his own. Reigns agrees and tells Ambrose to give him hell.

Titus O'Neil vs Adam Rose

Before the match, the Outcasts cut one of those completely insane promos. Oh, Adam Rose is now the "Radical Mongoose"

This one also happened. After a distraction from Heath Slater, Rose got the win with a roll-up full of tights.

Everyone's favorite nutjob, Dean Ambrose, comes out to the ring.

Ambrose mocks the F5 that he received earlier, saying that it was supposed to keep him down. He says that Lesnar can't get the job done. Ambrose invites Lesnar to the ring to finish the job. He continues taunting and throws in an erectile dysfunction joke for reasons.

After some more prodding, Brock Lesnar strolls out. Now would be the time for Renee Young to look far away.

As Lesnar strolls down the ramp, Ambrose dives out of the ring and goes right after Lesnar. Lesnar responds by ripping Ambrose apart. Despite the abuse, Ambrose keeps getting back on up for more abuse until he eats a F5.

As Lesnar walks out, Ambrose keeps stirring....AND BEGS FOR MORE FROM LESNAR!!!

Lesnar enters the ring and prepares to destroy Ambrose, but Roman Reigns interrupts. The distraction allows Ambrose to hit Lesnar with a low blow.

Ambrose staggers out of the ring as Lesnar writhes in pain and rage.

Lucha Dragons vs Alberto Del Rio and Rusev

This one happened. After King Barrett caused a distraction, Del Rio hit Kalisto with the double stomp to win.

Another R-Truth/Goldust segment. This time Goldust channels his inner Jimi Hendrix to recruit R-Truth.

Becky Lynch vs Tamina

Sasha Banks is on commentary for this one.

This one happened. Toward the end, Tamina and Sasha started to trade words, causing the latter to approach the ring. Naomi approached and beat Sasha down. Inside the ring, Becky saw the situation and came outside to help. Upon reentry, she ate a superkick.

Tamina def Becky Lynch

Backstage, The New Day tries to woo Mark Henry into joining their team tonight. Henry puts the unicorn horn on and plays Francesca II a bit. Xavier Woods takes Francesca back and the hip-nosis begins.

The Usos and The Dudley Boyz vs The New Day and Mark Henry (Tables match)

As with the other matches tonight, this happened. Midway through, Henry got annoyed with The New Day and left. The New Day held their own for a few moments, but the faces took advantage quickly and got the win when Big E ate a 3D through the table.

The Usos and The Dudley Boyz def The New Day and Mark Henry

As The Usos celebrate, The Dudley Boyz attack. One Uso eats a 3D through the table, and the other Uso gets powerbombed through the table.

(This segment is definitely going to run past the show's end time, so here is a WWE YouTube link to continue watching)

It is time. Daniel Bryan comes to the ring to a standing ovation and chants galore. The dude is definitely trying to keep it together.

Bryan says that for the first time, he really got to experience what it was like to be ludicrously over.

Alright, it is time for the bad business. The crowd chants "no", and he agrees: he didn't want to shave his beard either. However, with the haircut, it was kind of out of necessity. (Shout-out to Wigs for Kids).

Now to the REAL news. Bryan has been wrestling since he was 18, and in the first five months, he had gotten three concussions. As the years went by, he would get periodic concussions. Over 16 years, that definitely adds up to the point where he has been told that he can't wrestle anymore.

For years, Bryan had fought those haunting words, and was training for another big return. After all, he loves wrestling more than he has loved anything else.

"Thank you Daniel" chants start before Bryan drops the bomb that a recent test told him that his brain isn't in as good of a condition as they thought.

This, combined with the desire to start a family (insert "that's what she said" joke here), has forced his hand and he is officially announcing his retirement.

If there is any consolation to this, Bryan has felt gratitude because he has been able to do what he has loved to do for 16 years old.

He talks about the things that he has loved about WWE (the pop when his music starts, diving through the ropes like Superman)

He also talks about the best people that he has met during his tenure, including Kane, William Regal, and Connor Michalek.

Bryan says that WWE or the fans don't owe any of the performers anything. The performers do it for the love of the sport. He then talks about how the crowd all-of-a-sudden got behind him and pushed him to the moon.

He also brings up the Occupy Raw segment that occurred about two years ago in the very same arena. He also brings up DAT CORONATION SEQUENCE and how the crowd completely hijacked it by chanting Bryan's name.

But all those are insignificant. Bryan's dad got to see his son get that very reaction from the Seattle crowd on that night (Bryan's voice breaks while talking about this) - the last time Bryan's dad got to see his son perform.

Also because of wrestling, Bryan got to meet the love of his life, the most wonderful woman in the world.

Bryan is also grateful because he can announce his retirement in front of not only his hometown crowd, but also his family and friends in attendance, both in the crowd and in the locker room.

"I am grateful."

Tomorrow, Bryan is starting a new life - one where he is no longer a wrestler.

As the crowd chants, Brie Bella comes down and the two embrace to end the show.

This ends the televised show, but it continues on YouTube. I will continue blogging that

Back on YouTube, the locker room comes out onto the stage to give Bryan an ovation as he goes around the ring area and interacts with the fans, Lillian Garcia, and the commentary team.

After another Yes chant and another hug with Brie, Bryan gives Vince McMahon a huge and exits to the backstage area.

Goodbye, Daniel Bryan. Enjoy life. You've earned it.
