WWE Fastlane 2016 results: AJ Styles submits Chris Jericho

AJ Styles continued his tour through WWE with yet another Chris Jericho bout, the rubber match between the two, on tonight's (Sun., Feb. 21, 2016) Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Styles won the first match on Raw with a roll up after a hard fought back-and-forth. Jericho evened up the score on SmackDown after a Codebreaker, though he needed a cheap shot earlier in the night after the two had teamed together.

Here, they had a fairly good match that looked a little too dangerous in spots. It was yet another back-and-forth match, like two veterans who didn't want to give an inch to the other and whoever won would be the guy who took it.

That ended up being Styles, who hit a Styles Clash and followed up with a Calf Crusher when Y2J kicked out. Jericho fought to avoid tapping but eventually did what he had to do.

After the match, he acted like he was going to attack Styles but ultimately shook his hand with a begrudging respect.
