WWE Network reveals their 2016 ‘Match of the Year’ collection

WWE Network has published their “WWE Match of the Year” collection for 2016 (subscribers, find it here). Now, the obvious caveat - other than that this is just one possible list - is that this only covers the period of January through October, so it doesn’t include TakeOver: Toronto, Survivor Series, Sasha & Charlotte’s Last Man Standing match, etc.

But it’s as good as basis to start the discussion as any... and a reminder of what an amazing year of pro graps we’ve just experienced. And this is only WWE!

Here’s the list:

- Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens, Last Man Standing Match for the Intercontinental Championship at Royal Rumble
- The Revival vs. American Alpha for NXT Tag Team Championship at TakeOver: Dallas
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn at NXT TakeOver: Dallas
