Mickie James reportedly offered a main roster WWE contract

WWE.fr

Triple H said it was up to her, and if Pro Wrestling Sheet’s sources are correct, sounds like WWE is even holding the door open for former Divas and Women’s champion Mickie James.

Ryan Satin says company officials have stayed in touch with James since her NXT title match against Asuka at TakeOver: Toronto and those conversations have led to an offer for Mickie to perform on the main roster. While the report doesn’t have details about whether she would compete on Raw or SmackDown, or the duration of the contact, it’s interesting to think about her joining either the Red or Blue brand’s women’s division.

While it’s fun to speculate and difficult not to start fantasy booking, both Triple H’s comments after Toronto and interviews with James heading into her return match raised questions about how interested a 37 year country singer with a two-year son would be in getting back into the WWE grind. Without details of the offer (for example, would it be for a full schedule or limited to television and occassional house shows?), it’s even tougher to guess.

But that’s never stopped us before.

What do you think gang? Do you want to see the Mickster back on Monday or Tuesday nights? Do you think we will?
