WWE’s 2017 pay-per-view (PPV) schedule is continuing to take shape with one of fans’ favorite shows confirmed for June 18 in St. Louis.
Money in the Bank is set for the Scottrade Center, and while tickets haven’t been released to the public yet, there is a presale going on this week at Ticketmaster if you use the code “MITB”.
No word yet if the eighth edition of Money in the Bank will be a Raw or SmackDown brand show - or perhaps feature Superstars from both. The original brand extension plans indicated only the “Big 4” events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam & Survivor Series) would feature the full roster, but if any other show on the calendar would merit participation from both brands, this would be it. The concept which gives MitB its name - a ladder match won by claiming a briefcase containing a contract for a WWE title shot at a time and place of the victor’s choosing - is extremely popular, and limiting it to only the Monday or Tuesday show would upset a lot of people.
But for now, all we know if the event’s date and location. Those other details will have to wait.
