After launching their partnership with the WWE: Then. Now. Forever. one-shot (check our review of it here) in November, BOOM! Studios is gearing up for the start of their new ongoing comic book series in January, 2017.
WWE #1 will hit digital stores and comic book shops in three weeks (Jan. 11), and BOOM! recently revealed a number of alternate covers for the issue.
Comics aren’t quite the minefield of variant, foil-embossed covers they were in the 90s any more, but mixing up the illustration on the front is still a way to generate some buzz and create collector’s items. Luckily, with WWE (and unlike many past licensed wrestling comics) BOOM! has lined up some great artists for these books.
You won’t be able to just stroll down to your local store to get these, however. Follow the links below to head to the retailers selling limited editions of each cover:
Finn Balor by Corbyn Kern, available from JJ’s Comics:

Studios’ website - including an interlocking series of covers by Brent Schoonover depicting a fantasy Royal Rumble match where AJ Styles duels with Shawn Michaels and Cesaro swings Ric Flair (on the two available so far).
