Mick Foley reportedly taking time off from WWE

Well, this is a surprise.

According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Mick Foley will be taking the rest of the year off from WWE. That same report got a comment from the company that states:

“Mick is taking time off to spend the holidays with his family and do his volunteer work as Santa. He has not been released or fired.”

Foley is the acting General Manager of Monday Night Raw and much of his focus has been on Sami Zayn and his continuing battles with Braun Strowman. They made no mention of Foley taking any time off on television this past week, so it’s possible he’s not going to get written off the show until his return, which is currently scheduled for the Jan. 2, 2017, edition of Raw.
