Mick Foley really made Sami Zayn work for his Roadblock: End of the Line match.
He’s taken a couple beatings from Braun Strowman, but those were nothing compared to the mental hoops the General Manager made Zayn jump through to get his pay-per-view (PPV) match.
On the Dec. 12 episode, Mick again denied Sami a shot at Strowman. What’s more, he doubted his desire for the bout, pushing Zayn to demand a trade to SmackDown.
After a win over Jinder Mahal, Foley came to the ring to tell the Likeable One that he’d orchestrated a swap with his blue brand counterpart. Raw would get an “equal talent” in exchange for Zayn... Eva Marie.
While that tickled my boss, it pushed Sami to the edge. And after some more yelling, Mick was convinced Zayn has what it takes to survive a showdown with the Abominible Strowman.
For ten minutes, anyhow.
He may not be trading @iLikeSamiZayn to #SDLive for @natalieevamarie... but is @RealMickFoley giving Zayn the match he wants?! #RAW pic.twitter.com/RPIptzY8QS

That’s the time limit on the match, which will likely allow for a moral victory for the former NXT champ, without pinning a loss on the monster.
