The company itself has yet to comment on the election of WWE Hall of Famer Donald J. Trump to the job of President of the United States of America, nor have current officers and management of WWE like Vince McMahon, Paul “Triple H” Levesque or Stephanie McMahon-Levesque said anything. It will be interesting to see if that changes, as significant portions of their domestic and international customer base aren’t thrilled with the final outcome of a contentious vote.
Several people who have worked for the company in a variety of roles have spoken out on social media since the race was called in Trump’s favor early this morning (Nov. 9, 2016):
If you like it, great. If you don't, make the best of it, and you get to try again in 4 years. We still live in a great country.#PMA— Corey Graves (@WWEGraves) November 9, 2016
Once upon a time, I was on welfare. And I worked my ass off to get where I'm at. Period. No president helped me. You're no different. #PMA— Corey Graves (@WWEGraves) November 9, 2016
