Both Chris Jericho and Sin Cara appeared on the Nov. 7 episode of Raw from Glasgow, Scotland, which is the show they were on their way too when the widely-reported on “boys will be boys” fight broke out on the WWE tour bus, so it doesn’t appear either guy is in too much hot water for the annoying noise-instigated incident.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required but recommended), the company has decided there’s a pattern of behavior they have with Jorge Arias, the man who performs as Sin Cara, and they’re taking steps to help him address it.
Yep, prepare to use all those Dr. Shelby and Team Hell No jokes you’ve been saving up, because WWE is sending Sin Cara to anger management.
This is the third newsworthy incident Arias has been involved with in the last couple years, following alledged fights with Sheamus and Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillains. It’s interesting that the company is going this route rather than suspending or even firing him - and makes you think there may be more to each situation than the little bits of information which reach us on the internet.
Regardless, we probably haven’t heard the last of this story.
Hopefully the next post will be to tell you Sin Cara and Y2J have decided to hug it out...
