According to a report from WrestleZone & Justin LaBar, things got heated backstage at one of this weekend’s Raw-brand house shows in England and lead to a locker room fight between a couple guys getting a reputation for these things - Sin Cara and Chris Jericho.
Nobody has any details about why the fight took place, or is even on record as to whether this took place Saturday in Minehead or Sunday in Leeds - but given the timing of the Tweets about it, I’m assuming it’s the latter. MLW did reTweet the original story while touting Sin Cara (real name Jorge Arias, who worked as Hunico prior to taking over his current gimmick) as the winner and using the hashtag #Y2JKOd, who many have taken to mean he won by knock out. This started a flurry of jokes on social media from wrestling sites & fans about the fight and Hunico’s shoot fighting credentials (he’s alleged to have backstage victories over Sheamus and Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillains on his “record”).
If true, this is the second backstage brawl the dirt sheets have covered for both men. Jericho has gone on record confirming his post-SummerSlam shoving match with Brock Lesnar, while Sin Cara allegedly took down Gotch in catering this past July.
Jericho posted a video to Instagram after Sunday’s Leeds show, discussing The Walking Dead (and making a bad dad joke about bath salts). He doesn’t have any bruises on his face, nor does he seem to be dealing with the after-effects of a “KO”. He also fired some shots at MLW for their insinuation:
Hmmm haven’t been KOd since 1994 in Hakata Star Lanes. Another example of shoddy, uninformed “journalism” from the stupid idiots at @MLW.

The story is gathering steam and getting picked up by more and more outlets, so expect more “details” from backstage sources soon.
