The bloodhounds at TMZ caught up with Brooke Hogan recently and asked about her father, Hulk Hogan, returning to WWE at some point. Her response:
"I'll just say I know that people have been calling him for WrestleMania."
Hogan was fired by the company in July of last year when audio featuring Hogan making racist comments was made public. WWE completely wiped him from its history too, taking him out of video games, scrapping plans for action figures, taking him off the company website, removing him from the Hall of Fame, and even forcing Curtis Axel to stop working a tribute gimmick.
Jim Ross advised him to “lie low and let things settle down,” knowing time heals all wounds and he would return eventually. Slowly but surely, his image started reappearing on WWE programming. There has been very little, if any, backlash in response.
It would seem, then, the time to bring him back has come.
