Ronda Rousey will make her long awaited return to mixed martial arts when she fights Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on Dec. 30, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In a recent interview, she said it would be one of her last bouts because she’s wrapping up her fight career soon.
But what about pro wrestling?
Rousey worked WrestleMania 31 in a big spot alongside The Rock setting up a future match with Stephanie McMahon. There were rumors WWE wanted it for WrestleMania 32 but that never came to be. Now that Rousey is talking about leaving UFC, Stephanie is being asked about bringing her back into the fold.
She’s going to try, as she told TMZ Sports:
"God, I certainly hope so. I gotta get her back from when she put me in that armbar. ... I'm certainly going to try, I'll just leave it at that."
Following WrestleMania 31, Rousey talked like it was only the beginning. We’ll find out if that was the case eventually, maybe sooner rather than later.
