WWE TLC 2016 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the TLC event set to take place on Sun., Dec. 4, 2016, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, the company's annual end of the year showcase playing off the popular Tables, Ladders, and Chairs gimmick match that took the pro wrestling world by storm in the early 2000s. This is a SmackDown Live exclusive event.

We're just one week out from showtime and the card appears to be full:

- AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose (TLC match for the WWE world championship)

Ambrose earned this rematch with a win on SmackDown Live, thanks to some help from his best friend, James Ellsworth. He went against Undertaker orders at Survivor Series to attack Styles and they’re headed for what should be a crazy match.

- The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler (Ladder match for the Intercontinental championship)

Miz won the title with help from Maryse and Spirit Squad, then retained it against Sami Zayn at Survivor Series. Ziggler was given his mandatory rematch and Daniel Bryan added the ladders to make it really interesting.

- Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss (Women’s championship)

Lynch retained the title in their last match but the referee missed Bliss’ leg on the rope when she was submitting to the Disarmher. Here, she’ll get another shot.

- Nikki Bella vs. Carmella (No Disqualification match)

They’ve been fighting for what feels like forever. The natural conclusion was to put them in a match with no rules.

- Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto (Chairs match)

They attacked each other with chairs over the past couple weeks, so they’ll have a chairs match to settle their differences, which include Corbin costing Kalisto the cruiserweight championship and SmackDown the entire cruiserweight division.

- Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. TBA (Tag team championship)

The winner of the American Alpha vs. Wyatt Family match on SmackDown Live this coming week will determine who gets the title shot.

That’s the card. You watching?
