It’s Thanksgiving Day here in the United States of America, and we here at Cageside Seats would like you wish you all the happiest of holidays.
I’ve been running this site for over five years now and I’m thankful both to have had the opportunity to do so and to have had the chance to meet and work with such wonderful people along the way. I wouldn’t want to do this job with anyone other than Sean Rueter, whose typos are legendary but is one of the best people I know. Kyle Decker continues to be a delight. Cain A Knight schools us on numbers and feeds my growing baseball obsession in the Cageside offices. Reverend Kain has singlehandedly brought indie coverage to the site, and he has, despite battling migraines, done a fantastic job with it. Eddie Mac (he’s notorious, you know) has made “History” posts a go-to destination on the site each day. Tonya Rodgers and Andrew Swift have become SmackDown King and Queen, and it’s been fun to see. Jason Martin’s editorials are always on point, and his perspective is a welcome addition to the site.
I’m also thankful for my mentor, Jesse Holland. Everything I know in this business I learned from him. I am what I am today because of him.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I’m thankful for all of you, dear Cagesiders. Thank you for reading, and listening, and your general support of what we do here. We love you all.
