WWE didn’t think it important enough to promote any matches ahead of time but that didn’t stop them from running two matches on the Survivor Series Kickoff show tonight (Sun., Nov. 20, 2016) at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In the first, the cruiserweight division had one of their now trademarked meaningless trios matches where the babyface team of Rich Swann, Noam Dar, and TJ Perkins defeated Ariya Daivari, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese.
There were flips and kicks and what have you.
Then, because Kane and Luke Harper didn’t have anything better to do, they squared off. Much of the match saw Harper beating the snot out of Kane but “The Big Red Machine” used a timely chokeslam to score the pinfall victory.
Score another one for the good guys, even if they’re demons from the depths of hell or whatever.
