Undertaker announced for November SmackDown show

Well, this is interesting.

Looks like Undertaker won’t just be appearing at Cleveland Cavaliers games this Fall, as WWE and the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania are advertising the Dead Man for the SmackDown brand show there on Nov. 15, 2016.

While there’s no confirmation Taker will even appear on the televised portion of the show, the date is significant for a couple reasons.

  1. It’s the Survivor Series go home show, an event he debuted at 26 years ago.
  2. It’s the 900th episode of SmackDown, the show the Phenom was synonymous with during the first brand split era.

Rumors are, of course, already swirling about if he’ll play a role at the Nov. 20 pay-per-view (PPV), or if his appearance will be used to set-up his WrestleMania 33 angle.

And it seems like just yesterday we were freaking out about his being seen on crutches...
