Two title matches announced for WWE Hell in a Cell 2016

During tonight’s SmackDown Live exclusive pay-per-view (PPV), No Mercy, WWE announced two title matches for the next Raw exclusive PPV, Hell in a Cell. The show, scheduled for Sun., Oct. 30, 2016, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, will feature Kevin Owens defending the Universal championship against Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks defending the Raw women’s title against Charlotte.

Both will be regular singles matches, unless something changes in the coming weeks.

That goes against previous rumors that WWE was planning on putting the women in the first ever Hell in a Cell match between female competitors. There are three episodes of Monday Night Raw until the PPV, so there’s plenty of opportunity for the powers that be to change their mind.

• Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (Hell in a Cell match for the US championship)
• Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins (Universal championship)
• Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (Raw women’s championship)
