Word came out yesterday that Becky Lynch may not compete tonight (Oct. 9, 2016) at the No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV). While other reports came out today that it wasn’t in-ring related and not serious, there was no official word from WWE about the Lass Kicker’s status tonight.
On the WWE Kickoff show, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan confirmed it. They told the #1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s title, Alexa Bliss, that she would not be facing Lynch for the title due to a non-ring related health issue.

Alexa Bliss will be in action tonight against an unknown opponent, but it will not have title implications. Instead, Bliss will get her title match on the Nov. 8 SmackDown Live in Glasgow, Scotland. That implies whatever the concern with Becky, they feel she will be able to wrestle by then. They are giving her a month to make sure.
We’ll have any updates on Becky as they become available. You can follow the results of No Mercy at the live blog here.
