Tonight’s (Oct. 9, 2016) WWE No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV), broadcasting from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, will be going head-to-head with the second Presidential debate for almost the entirety of the event. Only the pre-show and the first hour of the PPV will go unopposed.
This, then, should come as no real surprise:
sources tell me tonight don't tune in late. First time ever a @Wwe ppv will start with main event. Ambrose/Cena/styles for title. 8 east.

The idea that a match opening the show is the main event is silly, of course, but it was promoted as the headliner all along and is for the most important title on the brand, so the language hardly matters.
Like he said, make sure you’re tuning in early!
